The unique ecosystem of the Tonle SAP in Cambodia is hard to classify as a lake or river.
In the dry season the Tonle SAP water goes into the Mekong river, but during the monsoon the water flow is so intense that it literally makes back from the river, thereby forming the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. It especially differs in that its course is twice a year changes in the opposite direction.
Because of these unusual conditions, the region is a treasure trove in terms of biological diversity, and it was named a biosphere by UNESCO.

Extraordinary expedition along the island Kunashir (southern Kuriles) has committed a group of tourists from Sakhalin – acquainted with the harsh beauties of the participants in the mobile camp of the Center of youth tourism, members and volunteers of the boomerang club went on a sailing catamaran, sea kayak and motor boat.
